NOVINEX at the European Security Research Conference SRC ‘07
The motto of the conference organized by the German Presidency of the European Union was ‘Security Research as a Service to Citizens, State and Companies’
The European Security Research Conference SRC ’07 held in Berlin on 26-27 March 2007 presented far-reaching concepts, ideas and research programmes of the European Union. It brought together researchers, scientists, operators of security-relevant infrastructures (energy, water, telecommunications, transport, health, financial system) industries, public authorities as well as organizations which are responsible for security.
The priority topics of the conference included security, innovation and technology; security and infrastructure; security and competitiveness; security and society.
The conference coincided with the launch of the European Security Research Programme, which has been published for the first time as a separate programme under the Seventh Framework Programme for Reseach and Technological Development of the European Union.
NOVINEX was represented by Ms. Anita Kristály, Mr. Ernő Jeges and Mr. István Kispál at this prominent event, which also provided a great opportunity to meet people, to exhange views and to run discussions on future partnerships in FP7 projects.
